Thank you for your interest in our child sponsorship program. Through donations from our sponsors, we are able to provide our children with a loving home environment. Our home provides the children with more than just the basic food and shelter, it provides a home where the children belong to a family. Our home is a place where they can grow up among a staff of Godly men and women who genuinely love and care about them as individuals.
It cost approximately $400.00 a month per child to provide for all their needs. This includes the daily operational expenses of the home as well as staffing both in Kenya and here in the U.S. Our sponsorship program will give you an opportunity to partner with other people supporting a child and in so doing become part of the childs extended family.
What does sponsorship provide for your child?
- Our ministry provides a full time residence, medical care, food, clothing and an education. We are committed to providing for their needs until they are old enough to care for themselves. They will live at the home and go to school until they are independent adults.
The children will be provided a safe and loving home environment by a staff who will encourage them in their relationship with God.
The children will learn practical life skills in the home preparing them for their future adult lives outside the home.
The children will be provided nutritious food for optimal growth and health.
The children will receive the medical attention they need for healthy bodies & minds.
The children will receive an opportunity for a full education: In Kenya, the first 8 years of primary school is publicly funded with the exception of small school fees. The following 4 years of secondary school or trade school tuition will be paid for through the sponsorship program. This will be followed by college or more trade school depending on the child.
What does child sponsorship cost?
We encourage sponsorship participation at any dollar amount. This partial sponsorship can be with those you already know, or we can match you with one, or several, of the other donors on our list who also desire to be a partial sponsor. If you prefer to be the sole sponsor for your child , the cost is $400.00 per month.
What sponsorship will give you in return?
You will receive a picture of your child along with a brief biography of his or her life and the opportunity to correspond with your child on a regular basis.
You will receive periodic updates from us on current activities and general information about what is happening at the home.
Depending on the age of your child you will receive periodic correspondence from your child.
We also welcome the opportunity for our sponsors to join us on a trip to Kitalale to visit the home and their child.
